HEIGHT REALTY, Inc. wins at Real Estate Asia Awards 2026
The residential township incorporates passive cooling and extensive green spaces to promote resource efficiency.
HEIGHT REALTY, Inc. won Sustainable Development of the Year - Philippines in the Real Estate Asia Awards 2026. The company earned the accolade for its work on Southlinks Estate, a residential township that integrates climate-responsive planning with green infrastructure.
Southlinks Estate occupies 46 hectares in Las Piñas City and balances urban connectivity with nature-centred living. The development features architectural designs that maximise natural ventilation and daylight. It uses wide roof overhangs, brise-soleil shading devices, and courtyard layouts to reduce heat gain whilst maintaining open environments.
Passive cooling strategies and energy-efficient systems within the estate aim to reduce energy consumption by 50%. The company also implements water-efficient systems that target a 50% reduction in usage.
Mobility planning within the development encourages active lifestyles and low-carbon transportation. Eighty percent of the road network includes dedicated cycling lanes to reduce dependence on private vehicles. Residents also have access to community shuttle programmes that facilitate easier travel within and beyond the estate.
Landscaped open areas, linear parks, and pocket gardens make up 40% of the development. The project preserves more than 1,800 existing trees and introduces 2,250 additional trees to support local biodiversity. These green corridors provide natural cooling and improve the quality of outdoor spaces for the residents.
The 1.4-hectare Paradise Clubhouse further supports sustainability through rainwater harvesting and flexible air-conditioning solutions. Mixed-use components, including retail and recreational destinations, are located within walking distance of the residential units. This proximity reduces commuting demand and transportation-related emissions.
HEIGHT REALTY, Inc. follows environmentally responsible practices during construction and operations. Its zero-waste strategy diverts 40% of solid waste from landfills. The development also uses disaster-resilient designs based on climate and hazard analysis to ensure long-term safety.
