Tokyu Land Indonesia wins two prestigious accolades at the Real Estate Asia Award 2025

Blending trusted Japanese quality with a bold vision for sustainable, high-end urban living, the company continues to shape Indonesia’s real estate landscape with resilience and innovation.

Real estate developer PT Tokyu Land Indonesia bested other nominees to win the Sustainable Development of the Year - Indonesia award, whilst BRANZ Mega Kuningan, developed by the company, earned the title of Luxury Residential Development of the Year - Indonesia at the recent Real Estate Asia Awards 2025.

Since entering Indonesia in 1975, Tokyu Land Corporation, the parent company of PT Tokyu Land Indonesia, has made substantial contributions to the country’s urban development, delivering over 5,000 landed houses by 2011.

Tokyu Land Corporation’s growth has been driven by its unique approach of integrating urban development with transportation infrastructure—drawing on the expertise of its parent company in Japan. This strategy has enabled the company to provide high-quality homes to Indonesian communities, reflecting its commitment to innovative urban planning.

In 2012, Tokyu Land established PT Tokyu Land Indonesia and expanded into the urban development sector, including high-rise residential projects. Over the years, Tokyu Land Indonesia has faced numerous challenges, including political instability, the Asian currency crisis, and the global COVID-19 pandemic. However, it has responded to these challenges with sincerity and resilience. With strong belief in the Indonesian market and a firm commitment to ongoing development, PT Tokyu Land Indonesia delivered over 2,200 units, building a solid track record and strong reputation in the country.

One of the company’s most notable achievements is the award-winning BRANZ Mega Kuningan—a luxury condominium that is part of a mixed-use development including serviced apartments and commercial facilities, all spread across a one-hectare site in the upscale Mega Kuningan area.

A key factor behind the wide appeal of BRANZ Mega Kuningan is the trusted Japanese quality evident throughout its design and construction. From land acquisition to planning and construction, the entire process has been managed by Japanese companies with extensive real estate experience.

An integral feature of this complex is Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan, a luxurious hotel operated by the renowned Accor Group. Opened in April 2025, Swissôtel Living brings world-class hospitality standards to the heart of Jakarta. In addition to residential and hospitality offerings, the project will also introduce a new upscale retail area in 2025. This retail space is designed to meet the lifestyle needs of discerning residents, offering luxury brands and premium services whilst minimising the need for travel in Jakarta’s often-congested traffic.

Swissôtel Living Jakarta Mega Kuningan operates on 100% renewable electricity and features energy-saving systems in each unit, demonstrating its strong commitment to sustainability and a better living experience. This project supports global ESG goals and proves that luxury and sustainability can go hand in hand.

It also represents PT Tokyu Land Indonesia’s first step toward introducing clean energy solutions in Indonesia. With experience in major clean energy projects in Japan, Tokyu Land Corporation is prepared to support Indonesia’s ambitions of becoming carbon neutral.

Beyond property development, Tokyu Land Indonesia also contributes to social welfare through various CSR initiatives. These include the construction of bicycle lanes, support for COVID-19 vaccinations, tree planting, coral reef and turtle conservation, support for individuals with autism, and urban clean-up activities in Jakarta.
