BRITTANY wins two awards at Real Estate Asia Awards 2026

The company earned honours for its Portofino and Escana Boracay developments in South Metro Manila and Boracay Island.

BRITTANY won Luxury Residential Development of the Year - Philippines and Mixed-Use Development of the Year - Philippines in the Real Estate Asia Awards 2026. The company earned the accolades for its distinctive approach to master-planned communities and luxury island living.

Its project Portofino received the luxury residential award for its 300-hectare estate in South Metro Manila. Inspired by the Italian Riviera, the development consists of several exclusive enclaves including Portofino Heights, Portofino South, and Amore at Portofino. The estate features Mediterranean-inspired architecture with clay-tiled roofs and arched windows. Since the start of construction in 2007, the community grew to include over 1,000 homes and residential lots.

The development maintains design integrity through strict architectural guidelines whilst allowing homeowners to personalise their spaces. Its strategic location provides residents with access to major business districts and transport networks. The estate incorporates wide, tree-lined avenues and expansive green spaces to encourage outdoor living.

Meanwhile, the company won the mixed-use category for Escana Boracay. Developed in partnership with WOW Architects, the 5.1-hectare estate sits within the Station Zero enclave of Boracay Island. The project integrates four mid-rise residential towers, a future luxury hotel under the Brittany Hotel brand, and a commercial village.

The master plan for Escana Boracay utilises a sloping beachfront site to provide panoramic ocean views. The design follows a layered spatial hierarchy that separates public and private zones. The project adopts biophilic design principles, including green façades and passive cooling strategies, to protect the island ecosystem.

The development features infinity-edge pools, sky gardens, and walking trails that connect the various hospitality and commercial components.
