Henderson Land honoured at Real Estate Asia Awards 2026 for 4 consecutive years

The developer was recognised for its performance across regional and domestic markets and sustainability outcomes.

Henderson Land Development Company Limited (Henderson Land) was awarded the Developer of the Year - Hong Kong and Developer of the Year - Asia at the Real Estate Asia Awards 2026, reflecting its development pipeline, project execution, and sustainability integration across Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland.

Established in 1976, Henderson Land was listed in Hong Kong in 1981. Its portfolio comprises over 250 completed developments, alongside more than 40 projects currently under development. As of 31 December 2025, market capitalisation stood at HK$136b. Core activities include property development, investment in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland, and construction, project and property management, carried out through a group structure with multiple listed entities.

The Henderson is a super Grade-A commercial development located in Central, with an occupancy rate reaching 95% and multinational companies and financial institutions amongst its notable tenants. The Henderson is the first development in Hong Kong to receive 10 top-tier global and international accreditations across multiple sustainability and smart technology standards, including LEED, BEAM Plus, China Green Building Design Label, WELL, China Healthy Building Design Label, WiredScore Certification, SmartScore Certification, China Smart Building Certification, ActiveScore Certification, and ModeScore Certification.

Central Yards is a mixed-use development at the New Central Harbourfront, with over 1.6 million square feet of gross floor area. The first phase is scheduled to open in 2027, whilst the second phase is expected to be completed in 2032. More than 70% of Phase 1 office and ancillary space has been leased, with the remaining areas attracting strong interest from leading multinational companies, underscoring the development’s unique positioning as a new financial hub. Central Yards sets a new benchmark for ESG excellence and sustainable urban development in Hong Kong, integrating one of Hong Kong’s most comprehensive suites of green and smart building innovations — from innovative smart facade system that offers a 30% higher energy efficiency compared to other Grade A offices, to eco-friendly recycled materials. The development has secured or registered for the highest standards from nine of the world’s most respected green and smart building certifications — with additional accreditations in progress.
