PR1MA Corporation Malaysia bags a win at Real Estate Asia Awards 2025

It aims to deliver over 50,000 units of new affordable homes with a Gross Development Value of RM17.5b.

PR1MA Corporation Malaysia (PR1MA), a leading housing agency under Malaysia’s Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), was recognised as the Affordable Housing Developer of the Year - Malaysia at the Real Estate Asia Awards 2025 for its continued success in delivering high-quality, affordable homes for Malaysians since its inception in 2012.

As an award-winning developer, PR1MA continues to uphold its strong track record of delivering homes that balance quality, affordability, and accessibility. The Corporation has developed 91 projects comprising 54,340 units nationwide, with a total Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM15.4b. To date, over 40,000 units have been completed and over 44,000 units have been sold nationwide. With this accomplishment, PR1MA has established itself as the market leader for affordable housing for middle-income (M40) Malaysians.

Moving forward, PR1MA is committed to continue leading in delivery of high-quality affordable homes for middle-income (M40) Malaysians. In the current development pipeline, PR1MA is managing 27 active projects comprising more than 14,000 units with a total GDV of RM4.2b – to be completed by 2030. PR1MA plans to launch several new strategic projects, including premier homes, Transit Oriented Developments (TODs), and mini townships such as Bandar Mini PR1MA. In June 2024, PR1MA launched its first Bandar Mini PR1MA in Teluk Intan, Perak, offering more than 1,500 units of affordable homes. With continued support from the stakeholders, PR1MA will develop over 50,000 units of new affordable homes across the country over the next 10 years, with GDV amounting to RM17.5b.

PR1MA is also placing a greater emphasis on sustainability and future-ready living. Its forward strategy includes the integration of smart home solutions, green technologies, and sustainable township planning, whilst preserving the natural landscapes to support the nation’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) agenda. PR1MA also collaborates with both public and private entities to drive community initiatives that promote health, enhance socio-economic conditions, strengthen social bonds, and ensure community safety.

“With many initiatives in the pipeline, PR1MA remains dedicated to providing quality, affordable housing and enabling more Malaysians to realise their dream of homeownership,” the Corporation said.
