LOGOS Cileungsi wins Industrial Development of the Year - Indonesia at Real Estate Asia Awards

It caters to 40-foot vehicles accessway on two storeys, the first of its kind in Indonesia.

The LOGOS Cileungsi Distribution Centre has received the Industrial Development of the Year - Indonesia in the Development Awards category of the recently concluded Real Estate Asia (REA) Awards 2021.

Presented by Real Estate Asia magazine, the award recognises the most innovative real estate developments in Asia Pacific that stand out in the market regardless of a challenging environment.

LOGOS Cileungsi, a modern logistics warehouse of international standards, consists of a double-storey warehouse building with a total leasable area of 54,000 square metres. As of Q3 2020, approximately half of the leasable space has been secured.

It is strategically located just off Jalan Raya Narogong, where there are a number of surrounding pharmaceutical and manufacturing groups. It is also 200 metres away from the toll gate of the upcoming Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2, which will allow LOGOS Cileungsi to benefit from nearby infrastructure upgrades that are currently underway.

The dynamic industrial development is also planned carefully to cater to 40-foot vehicles accessway on two storeys through a ramp. It is a first of its kind in Indonesia which works for large vehicles and caters to all the requirements of warehouse operators.

Its site planning is done with segregation of vehicular movements of Level 1 and Level 2 warehouse units, which results in privacy for tenants located at both levels. This has created a unique situation of one building offering warehouse spaces of two developments.

LOGOS Cileungsi made customised solutions for tenants as making sure that the development fits tenants’ requirements is a topmost priority for LOGOS. The development made a private drop off with VIP parking lots, customised office designs to suit office operations, special canteen provisions as per the tenant’s requirements, hand and eye wash areas, and a canopy to accommodate operational demands.

At the same time, LOGOS Cileungsi used prefabricated structural elements for the construction of Level 2 as a way of saving time and expediting the project completion during the COVID-19 pandemic.

LOGOS Group, the company behind the development, ensures that it also caters to all workers’ needs and creates a cohesive environment, beyond its speciality in building huge warehouse complexes. As such, the development incorporates a human-centric environment in its developments.

The warehouse has integrated sheltered pathways to make sure that the workers are comfortable walking to their workplaces during the rainy season. International standard toilet designs are provided to cater to workers, which are rarely seen in warehouse complexes in Indonesia.

In addition, prayer rooms with supporting facilities are available for workers, as well as driver rooms to provide a comfortable space during their waiting times.

The facility has also obtained the Singapore International Green Mark Gold Certification, with the green features being a part of its integrated design. It has also incorporated ESD strategies in the construction of the facility.
