Guidelines and Criteria

GUIDELINES

  • Nomination is open to all real estate developers in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Each developer may nominate up to 4 categories only.

  • Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please submit separate nomination forms.

  • A panel of chosen industry experts will evaluate and rate each nomination based on the write-up and supporting documents submitted.

  • Deadline for submission of entries is on 2 April 2021.

  • Nomination is free of charge. But should you win, you will be obliged to take up any of the winners packages and attend the awards presentation.

  • Completed projects that were launched from 2019 to 2020

  • Ongoing projects that will be completed not later than 2023

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

For the CEO of the Year category:

  • Achievements - What remarkable milestones did the company achieve under the CEO's leadership?

  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the CEO encountered in moving the company forward? What solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges?

  • Innovation - What are the unique and innovative initiatives that the CEO introduced to substantially boost the company's business?

For the Development categories

  • Achievements - What are the remarkable milestones that the development has achieved or is targeting to achieve?

  • Challenges & Solutions - What are the biggest challenges that the developer encountered facilitating the project? What solutions were implemented to overcome these challenges. How will the developer be able to navigate through industry and company challenges?

  • Innovation - What are the unique innovations of the development? How is it different from other developments in the country?

For categories under Project/Initiative awards:

  • Uniqueness & Innovation - Has the project/initiative introduced new or cutting-edge innovation?

  • Effectiveness & Impact - Did the project/initiative achieve its objectives and targets? What measures have been used to assess its success? What was the impact to your company and industry?

  • Dynamism - Is the project/initiative t flexible to changes and progressive opportunities?
     

HOW TO ENTER?

  1. Go to the Online Nomination Form.
  2. Read the award entry guidelines and eligibility for your reference.
  3. Fill out the company information and entrant details fields.
  4. Choose the category you'd like to enter.
  5. Provide project information: Project title, 500-word summary of the entry, and client testimonial/s (if any).

  6. You will then receive an email confirmation from the REA Awards organisers after your nomination has been received.
  7. To substantiate your entry, send supporting documents or photos to julie@charltonmediamail.com.

    • Supporting documents and photos must be in PDF, PowerPoint and/or JPG format

    • For supporting videos, Youtube.com or Vimeo.com links must be provided.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I nominate?

You can send an entry via the online nomination form where you have to fill in details about your company and the product that you wish to enter. You also have to submit a 500 word write up summarizing your product details and why it should win an award.

How many winners per category?

Only one (1) winning company will be awarded per category.

Can I send two or more entries for our company?

Yes, you may send multiple entries for a maximum of two categories. One online form is equivalent to one entry so if you are nominating multiple entries, please enter each separately.

What can I nominate?

You may nominate wholesale banking initiatives and solutions that helped your bank remain steadfast amidst current uncertainties.

What is Asian Banking and Finance?

Asian Banking and Finance is the industry magazine serving Asia’s dynamic financial services industry. Each issue carries a balanced mix of articles which appeal to the C-level executives of large banking and financial services institutions in Asia.

Asian Banking and Finance is printed quarterly and is circulated to senior management in Asia’s financial services firms through direct mail delivery and by bulk copies to headquarters.
